CameronHelps Awarded Community Fund for Canada’s 150th

CameronHelps is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a grant from the Community Fund for Canada’s 150th. The fund is a collaborative effort of the Burlington Community Foundation along with the support from the Government of Canada and leaders from coast to coast to coast.

The Team Unbreakable program is a running program in support of youth mental health. The program teaches youth how to run 5km as a group, as well as gives them the tools and resources to cope with and overcome challenges they may face throughout their life. This grant will support Team Unbreakable programs in Burlington. It will provide youth with the proper footwear and clothing to participate in the program, as well as to participate in the goal event, which is a 5km Community Run: the Halton UNBREAKABLE 5k for Youth Mental Health, which will be taking place on May 13th, 2017 at Spencer Smith Park.

Together, teams and youth will come together to celebrate their achievements, and feel the support and encouragement from the community that this run event provides.

The grant, along with the goal event, will allow youth to participate and celebrate Canada’s 150th Birthday.
