If there’s a chilly wind blowing, you can be sure of two things: winter is coming and the Unbreakable Bold and Cold 3k & 5k run/walk is gearing up!
You can register for either the Unbreakable Bold and Cold run in Brampton on Saturday Nov. 28 or the Bold and Cold Oakville run on Sunday Nov. 29. Both feature great scenic runs, a finisher’s medal, a Team Unbreakable “buff” and breakfast.
The Bold and Cold event is open to everyone in the community. It is also the goal run/walk for our school programs in Peel and Halton. The Team Unbreakable program promotes better mental health and overall wellness.
Over the weekend, over 500 students from Halton and Peel public and Catholic schools are expected to run to demonstrate their support for the program which is non-competitive and without tryouts. The cost for the run is $35.
Please help us to fundraise by emailing your friends and family to sponsor you for the run. It’s an easy process, once you have paid your registration and set up your personal digital pledge page.
CameronHelps aims to prevent youth suicide through awareness, reducing stigma and wellness. Team Unbreakable is its flagship recreational run program, now in more than 40 Ontario high schools. It also offers a run-therapy program for hospitals, community and health agencies.
