CameronHelps is gearing up for its 8th Annual Unbreakable Father’s Day 5k Run/Walk happening Sunday, June 19, 2016 in Port Credit, Ontario.
The Unbreakable Father’s Day 5k Run/Walk has grown significantly over the past eight years and this year organizers are expecting to sell out with 750 participants from across Ontario, many from the Team Unbreakable youth run programs held at Peel and Halton Region High Schools.
The run starts and finishes at the Port Credit Lighthouse (105 Lakeshore Rd. West) and follows a picturesque route along the Mississauga waterfront trail. Participants are encouraged to register early online at www.unbreakable5k.ca If there are any spots left for the 750 participant-capacity event, ‘day-of’ registration will start at 7:30 a.m. with the run beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Those who register will receive a shiny huge finisher’s medal, a sweat-wicking event shirt, and pancake breakfast for an early bird price of only $40. The breakfast, sponsored by the Erin Mills Kinsmen, starts at 9:30 a.m. following the run Breakfast tickets for spectators are available for purchase at the door or online for only $10.
