Thanks to the generosity of Power Yoga Canada and teacher Lauren Dickenson, a Yoga fundraiser is being held Saturday Oct. 4 with proceeds benefiting CameronHelps.

There is a $10.00 minimum cost to participate with all proceeds going to CameronHelps.

The philosophy of the company is to empower communities into action – inspiring men and woman to tap into their mind body and spirit through yoga and meditation.

“CameronHelps firmly believes that physical health can strengthen mental health and it is one of its core platforms in our run therapy programs,” says founder David Harris. “Yoga provides this element and so much more. We are grateful to Lauren for volunteering her time to support our fundraising efforts so that we can assist more youth in community.”

Mental Illness Awareness Week focuses on mental disorders: signs and symptoms, how to get help, stigma, hope and recover, and the impact of mental illness on lives, families, workplaces and society.
