CameronHelps’ website gets a new makeover

The CameronHelps’ website at www.cameronhelps.ca was recently upgraded and modernized to reflect the growth and branding of the charity.

A professional web design firm, Firefly Creative Inc. was engaged to help in the makeover, which adds a number of new features, such as a mobile-friendly version, and easier-scroll down pages, along with rich imagery.

“We wanted a new site that better reflects the organization, in particular how we have expanded our Team Unbreakable school programs and the different level of programs in the community that we offer,” says CameronHelps’ CEO David Harris.

Thanks to our fundraising efforts, generous sponsors and donors and the huge support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation, CameronHelps is rapidly expanding into the Toronto area and continues to grow in Halton/Peel as well as other regions of Ontario.

“Firefly was an easy choice as our ‘go-to” design firm to take on this site,” said David Rowney, CameronHelps’ communications manager. They quickly understood our objectives and built a site that is very visually pleasing, easy to navigate and tells the complete Team Unbreakable story.”

The team from Firefly, led by CEO & Creative Director Shivani Sharma, has been around for more than three years. They do inspired marketing, using real-world insights to create authentic brand experiences. They create everything from advertising campaigns to branded assets like websites and social media. Some of their past clients include Baskin Robbins Canada, Harlequin Enterprises, Ribfest Toronto, and Stitchy Lizard.

The team who worked on the site include Phil Hobberlin ,Web Developer; Joe Delostritto, Art Director; and Ashwin Kapadiya, Account Manager. ”Working with a charity such as CameronHelps makes it all worthwhile and we believe this site will set them up for future success as new people view all the new features,” said Shivani. Some of the highlights of the site for Firefly are the full screen images around the site and improved news section to showcase CameronHelps’ activities, and the site’s simplicity that makes all the information more accessible for everyone.
